Student Support Services
The department of Student Support Services (SSS) is a federally-funded program through the U.S. Department of Education. It is a TRIO program designed to assist eligible low income college students, first generation college students, and college students with disabilities to succeed in completing their college education. A limited number of students can be served under the federal grant program. The primary mission of SSS is to enhance educational opportunities for eligible students to improve their academic and social skills, increase their retention toward graduation and as appropriate, facilitate their entrance into graduate and/or professional schools.
