SO 4133 Feminist Theories: 3 hours.

(Prerequisite: SO/GS/AN 1173 or consent of instructor). Three hours lecture. Analysis, evaluation of arguments, comparison of perspectives in feminist thought focused on the connections between gender, culture, social institutions, sexuality, race, ethnicity, class, and other social statuses. Students will strengthen writing, interpretation, and communication skills by applying these frameworks to historical and contemporary examples. (Same as GS 4133/6133: Feminist Theories and EN 4133/6133: Feminist Theories)
