MA 0103 Intermediate Algebra: 3 hours.
(MA 0103 is designed to prepare a student for MA 1213/1313) Two hours lecture. Two hours laboratory. Real numbers, algebraic expressions, factoring, algebraic fractions, linear equations/inequalities, quadratic and rational equations, radicals. Required for students with an ACT math subscore of 17 or 18 that do not place into a higher course via the math department placement test and for all students with an ACT math subscore below 17. Does not count towards any degree
