Orientation
All new students (freshmen and transfers) entering the university are encouraged to attend an orientation sessions. Orientation offers a variety of activities for both parents and students alike. Not only is orientation a time for students to register for classes, but it is also an opportunity for students and parents to become familiar with the institution, its activities and its academic programs. Students participate in interactive group sessions, register for classes and get to know other incoming students, all while becoming familiar with services and opportunities available at the university. Orientation is a celebration that welcomes all new students and their parents into the Bulldog family! Learn more at http://orientation.msstate.edu or email us at orientation@msstate.edu.
