Students who need academic accommodations based on a disability should visit the Office of Student Support Services, 01 Montgomery Hall, call (662) 325-3335, or visit the web site at www.sss.msstate.edu . Disability Support Services’ staff reviews the documentation, assesses the needs of students with disabilities, and makes requests to the faculty and the University based on those needs. The department serves as a resource and clearing house for dissemination of information related to disabilities and compliance with section 504 of the 1973 Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Students who are denied accommodations and/or services should seek assistance from Disability Support Services regarding the appeal process.
